Big Weekend

Well…we had a Big Weekend.
Silas and I yelled at cars, walkers and joggers on His Street, went out for a big breakfast, played hard and he practiced his walking like a Big Boy. (The pictures came out very blurry as do most of our “Action Shots.”)
We also visited the Renaissance Festival that opened this weekend. (My brother got free passes from an old friend.)
Silas had a great time and he played, plucked a duck, ate a pork chop on a stick, flirted with the wenches and finally sacked out early from all the excitement.
We spent a lot of time just talking to each other and trying to figure things out. But we didn’t get a chance to work on our Children’s Book which has been tentatively titled “Floppy Socks.”
He’s something else and I miss him terribly already.
I had to take him to his grandparents’ house Sunday afternoon. But I can’t wait for him to come Home again. We have a lot of big, important, Top Secret work to do.

Oh you mean plucked a duck from a pond of water?! I thought you meant plucked feathers from a dead just shoot duck...now that's a weekend!

You're a good dad and I can't understand anybody walking out on such a family.
I couldn't stand to miss all of that. No "adventure" can compare with this.

The action shots are definitely improving - far fewer blurry ones. Passing out after a great day like that is one of life's simple pleasures.

Haha. I too envisioned him participating in some medieval duck plucking. Hey, never too early to teach him where food comes from!

Sounds like a great day.

You look like you are enjoying fatherhood. Sorry for the time you are away from him. I enjoy reading about your adventures.

The picture of him sticking his tongue out is my favorite.

The pic of him asleep on your chest is fantastic! What a sweet boy and a wonderful dad.
